Panasonic Comfort Cloud

Home Assistant integration for Panasonic climate devices via the Panasonic Comfort Cloud API. Control your HVAC system from Home Assistant.

Overview

This is a custom integration to control Panasonic Comfort Cloud devices in Home Assistant. It supports both Panasonic air conditioners/heat pumps and Panasonic Aquarea heat pump systems.

Important: Before installing this integration, ensure you have completed the 2FA setup process in the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App using the SMS option. Failing to do so will result in authentication errors.

The integration provides comprehensive control and monitoring of your Panasonic devices:

Climate Control

  • Full climate entity for Panasonic air conditioners and heat pumps

  • Support for Heat, Cool, Auto, Dry, and Fan modes

  • Target temperature control and fan mode selection

  • Preset modes (Quiet, Powerful, +8/15°C heat)

Aquarea Support

  • Hot water tank with target temperature control (40–65°C)

  • Zone controls for multi-zone systems

  • Zone damper position slider (0–100%)

  • Pump status, direction, and accumulated energy sensors

Sensors & Monitoring

  • Inside/outside temperature readings

  • Daily energy consumption tracking (heating/cooling)

  • Current extrapolated power in watts

  • Connection status and data mode diagnostics

Smart Features

  • Nanoe air purification toggle

  • ECONAVI energy-saving mode

  • AI ECO intelligent eco mode

  • iAUTO-X intelligent auto mode

  • Horizontal and vertical swing control

Configuration

Add the integration via the Home Assistant UI and enter your Panasonic ID and password. Key options include:

  • Device fetch interval — Polling frequency for device data (5–300 seconds, default 120s)

  • Energy sensors — Enable daily energy and current power monitoring

  • Nanoe switch — Force Nanoe toggle on all devices

  • Preset names — Use "Quiet"/"Powerful" or "Eco"/"Boost"

Installation

The recommended way to install is via HACS. Search for "Panasonic Comfort Cloud" in the Home Assistant Community Store, download, and restart.

Manual installation: Copy the custom_components/panasonic_cc folder into your Home Assistant config directory and restart.
