Overview
This is a custom integration to control Senz WiFi smart underfloor heating thermostats (Pentair Thermal WiFi) in Home Assistant. Manage your heating zones, monitor energy consumption, and automate comfort scheduling from your smart home dashboard.

The integration provides comprehensive control and monitoring of each Senz WiFi thermostat:
Climate Control
Fully featured climate entity per thermostat with Auto (schedule), Heat (manual), and Off modes
Preset mode — Boost for temporary comfort heating
Temperature setting with 0.5 °C step resolution
Current temperature, target temperature, and HVAC action reporting
Sensors & Monitoring
Current room temperature and comfort/boost setpoints
Vacation and frost protection temperatures
Real-time power consumption in watts when heating is active
Cumulative energy consumption tracking (kWh)
Boost end time and currently active schedule indicators
Schedule & Automation
Regulation mode selection — Schedule, Boost, Manual, or Off
Custom schedule selection per thermostat
Boost service with configurable duration (1–1440 minutes)
Vacation mode and frost protection toggles
Early start of heating toggle for pre-warming before schedule kicks in
Diagnostics
Online status, error code reporting, and firmware version tracking
Configurable heating power per thermostat (100–10 000 W) for accurate energy calculations
Diagnostics download with credentials automatically redacted
Configuration
Add the integration via the Home Assistant UI and enter your Senz WiFi account email and password. The integration will discover all thermostats linked to your account.
Heating power — Configure per-thermostat wattage for accurate energy tracking (default: 1000 W). Match this to your actual underfloor heating circuit wattage.
Installation
The recommended way to install is via HACS. Search for "Senz WiFi" in the Home Assistant Community Store, download, and restart.
Manual installation: Copy the custom_components/senz_wifi folder into your Home Assistant config directory and restart.
